Atlas Mule Train
This holiday is perfect for families travelling with younger children but you'll still be able to enjoy the great scenery of the Atlas Mountains and get to know the Berber people. The walking is easy with lots of stops for picnic lunches and mules to carry the children. In Marrakech you can explore the bazaars and ride in a horse-drawn carriage and then there's plenty of time at the end to relax on the beach at Essaouira. For full details see our Atlas Mule Train Itinerary.
High Atlas Adventure
This is a great walking experience in the Atlas Mountains, exploring remote Berber villages and getting to know the tribes people. Don't worry about the children getting too tired because they can hitch a ride on a mule if need be. You'll have time to explore the bazaars of Marrakech at the beginning. And if you have time at the end you can extend the trip and relax on the beach at the old port of Essaouira. For full details see our High Atlas Adventure Itinerary.
Kasbahs & Camels
Staying in local riads and simple gites this trip combines easy walks in the Atlas Mountains and visits to Kasbahs and local Berber villages, where you learn to cook the local speciality of a tagine stew. At Essaouira you can ride a camel along the beach and explore the old port. Your last day is spent in Marrakech in the souks - plenty of opportunity for souvenir hunting. Crusaders & Camels
The highlights of this holiday are Wadi Rum where Lawrence of Arabia comes to mind and Petra with its amazing temples carved out of the rose-coloured stone - and the film set for The English Patient. However there is so much more - from swimming in the Dead Sea (or trying to), to Bedouin-style desert camping, sleeping out under the stars with camel treks and jeep safaris, to a visit to Kerak, the Crusader castle, to dipping your toes in the Red Sea at Aqaba.
