Spend time on morning and sundowner game drives from the South Luangwa camp and continue after dark to look for nocturnal wildlife. Afternoons are kept free for walking safaris, swimming or visits to a nearby village and local community projects. In the Lower Zambezi spend time on wildlife watching river cruises and go on a full day’s game drive in the national park as well as canoeing and walking safaris geared specifically towards teenagers.
Typical Itinerary

Day 1: Depart UK
Take an overnight flight to Lusaka, via Johannesburg.

Day 2: Fly to Mfuwe
Join a connecting flight to Mfuwe. You will be met by a representative on arrival then transferred to the camp where you’ll be based for the next four nights.

Days 3-5 : South Luangwa National Park
You’ll be based on a relaxed safari camp in South Luangwa. The daily routine consists of early morning starts before heading out on a sunrise game drive. Afternoons are kept free for relaxing by the pool before heading out again for sunset game drives and returning a little after dark to allow time to search for nocturnal animals such as leopard, lion and hyena.

Days 6-9 : The Lower Zambezi
Fly back to Lusaka and travel through beautiful scenery along the river to your second camp, which is located in the Lower Zambezi. Arrive at your lodge where you will stay for the next four nights. A wide range of activities are included at the lodge including wildlife game drives, boat cruises, canoeing and walking safaris.

Day 10: To Livingstone
Transfer back to Lusaka by road in time for your flight to Livingstone.

Days 11-12 : Free time in Livingstone
The last two days of the trip are kept free for you to enjoy the numerous activities on offer in the area, from your base near the Victoria Falls. You can access the Falls from the hotel and have the option to book a wide variety of adventure sports locally, such as canoeing in the Upper Zambezi, white-water rafting, helicopter flights and rhino tracking.

Day 13: Return to UK
Transfer to Livingstone Airport in time for your flight home.
Please note: Although children of all ages are welcome at the lodges, canoeing and walking safaris are not suitable for children under 12 years.
