Children will appreciate the many layers of the land while bathing in the Blue Lagoon, walking through the volcanic landscape and cycling around the vast open spaces. You’ll also have time to soak up the pleasant atmosphere of the colourful city of Reykjavik, the world's most northerly capital. From here, you can explore the famous Golden Circle, home to some of Iceland’s most spectacular sights, and Strokkur, the original geyser.

Join a guided tour along the south coast, walk behind a spectacular waterfall, visit Vik’s black sandy beach with its basalt columns and walk to a small lake which has formed in front of a retreating glacier.

The adventure here is not limited only to time on land; your family can also head out on a majestic whale safari from Reykjavik (optional).
