Accessing some of Egypt's most important ancient sites, your family will visit The Valley of the Kings, Karnak and Luxor, before boarding a traditional felucca to sail overnight on the River Nile. You'll also have options to visit the ancient temple of Abu Simbel and enjoy an evening meal in the home of a Nubian family.
Your holiday will end where it started, in Hurghada, where you take a snorkelling excursion to discover the variety of corals that line this section of the Red Sea Coast.
Typical Itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Hurghada
Fly to Hurghada and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. -
Day 2: Free morning & evening visit to Luxor Temple
After a morning around the pool, you transfer to Luxor this afternoon and arrive in time for an evening visit to Luxor Temple & a local market.

Day 3: Visit Philae Temple & Aswan Dam
Arriving in time for lunch, the afternoon is spent touring the temple of Philae and visiting the Aswan Dam. The option to have dinner at the home of a Nubian family can also be arranged.

Day 4: Visit Abu Simbel & sunset felucca cruise on the River Nile
The option to explore the ancient site of Abu Simbel can be arranged for this morning. You return shortly after lunch and board a traditional felucca for an evening sailing around the islands on the River Nile.

Day 5: Visit Kom Ombo & return to Luxor
This morning you visit the riverside temple of Kom Ombo and its mummified crocodiles, before transferring to Luxor where you can explore Karnak and Luxor temples in the late afternoon.

Day 6: Tutankhamun & The Valley of The Kings
Rising early, you spend the morning visiting The Valley of the Kings – the site of the most famous burial site in the world, that of Tutankhamun. After lunch, you will transfer back to Hurghada.

Day 7: Snorkeling in the Red Sea
After breakfast, you board your Red Sea vessel to enjoy a snorkelling excursion to explore the corals of the coast.

Day 8: Depart Egypt
You are transferred to Hurghada Airport in good time for your flight home to the UK.
Please note: This itinerary is based on a fully-escorted guided holiday, accompanied by an Egyptologist guide. The option to visit the site of Abu Simbel offers an impressive experience, however given the distance from Aswan it does require an extremely early start.
