Day 1: Arrive San José
You arrive in the evening and transfer to your hotel in San José. -
Day 2: Quinta Galeón Hummingbird Experience
Explore this special place and if you're lucky you may see more than 25 different species of hummingbirds. -
Day 3: Guided nature walk & Finca 6 Museum
Search for the magnificent and elusive, resplendent quetzal this morning, followed by a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage and archaeological site of two pre-Columbian spheres at the Finca 6 Museum. -
Day 4: Corcovado National Park
Take a guided tour of the country's largest national park, home to over 500 species of trees, 140 mammals and 367 species of bird, including the largest population of scarlet macaws. You might be lucky to spot the rare harpy eagle, Baird’s tapir or puma, and many noisy monkeys, such as capuchin, spider and howler. -
Day 5: Sierpe Mangroves boat tour
Navigate the jungle waterways in search of crocodiles on this river mangroves boat tour. Listen to the sounds of the rainforest and watch whilst spider monkeys leap daringly back and forth across the river above you. -
Day 6: Marino Ballena National Park whale watching cruise
Enjoy Marino Ballena National Park from the water in search for marine wildlife, with the opportunity to spot dolphins, sea turtles and humpback whales. -
Day 7: Manuel Antonio National Park
