Begin your adventure in Siem Reap, where you take Tuk Tuks around the Angkor temple complex and its surrounding jungle and moat before travelling by road to Battambang. Here you ride the famous bamboo train, still used today by locals to get around the province. Next, your trip takes you to Phnom Penh, where you enjoy a sunset cruise along the Mekong River and learn about the country's modern history. Finally, end your trip round Cambodia on the islands off the coast of Sihanoukville.

Day 1: Depart UK
Depart the UK on an overnight flight to Siem Reap.

Day 2: Arrive Siem Reap
After arriving in Siem Reap, the rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore.

Day 3: Angkor Temples Tuk Tuk tour
Head out on a Tuk Tuk tour around the Angkor Temple complex. Follow the trails to explore a series of historical sites and surrounding jungle and moat.

Day 4: Transfer to Battambang
From Siem Reap, head west to the town of Battambang, passing rice paddies and traditional villages along the way. Stop to visit some stonemasons whose techniques have been passed down through the generations since the Angkorian Era.
On arrival in Battambang, the afternoon is at leisure for you to explore yourself. The town has lots of character – be sure to visit the local market.

Day 5: Countryside Tour & bamboo train
Today you will head out on a full day’s tour of Battambang by tuk-tuk, visiting an ancient pagoda and enjoying lunch with a local family. This afternoon, ride the famous bamboo train before visiting the Phnom Sampov, a limestone mountain with spectacular views and temples. As the sun goes down, you will be treated to the spectacular sight of millions of bats exiting the caves. -
Day 6: Transfer to Phnom Penh
Travel to Phnom Penh, visiting the towns of Pursat and Chhnang along the way. This evening, you will take a sunset cruise through Phnom Penh along the Mekong River and watch the sun set over the sky line.

Day 7: Morning Phnom Penh Tour & Transfer to Koh Rong
This morning, go on a city tour of Phnom Penh where you will visit the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda within the palace compound. See the national museum and continue to Wat Phnom, an ancient pagoda on the top of the hill. Your tour concludes with a visit to Tuol Sleng, the genocide museum and former site of the S-21 prison, and a wander around a colonial-style Russian market.
In the afternoon you transfer to the island of Koh Rong off the coast of Sihanoukville.
