Day 1: Fly to Naples & Transfer to Sorrento
Fly to Naples and transfer to your hotel in Sorrento. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to relax or explore the local area.

Day 2: Explore Pompeii & Mount Vesuvius
Travel along the coastal road by bus to the ancient Roman city of Pompeii. Explore the ruins and then take a guided walk to the Mount Vesuvius crater, where you can peer down into its centre of jagged red rock.

Day 3: Free at Leisure – Optional Activities
Today is yours to enjoy at leisure, or choose an optional adventure: join an authentic Italian cooking class to master local recipes; explore the stunning coastline on a guided kayaking tour; or uncover Sorrento’s charm with a walking tour, rich in history, culture, and hidden gems.

Day 4: Full Day Visit to Capri Island
Take the hydrofoil boat across to Capri, a stunning island with its cliffs plunging into the sea and lush subtropical gardens. Enjoy a boat trip around the island with an option to visit the Blue Grotto, and wander around the many alleyways and squares. You could also take the chairlift up to the summit of Monte Solaro or visit Axel Munthe’s Villa San Michele.

Day 5: Visit to Herculaneum Ruins
This morning, you take an excursion to visit Herculaneum for another look at Roman life as it was before Vesuvius erupted. Herculaneum was much smaller than Pompeii, which means it's easier to absorb on a single visit.

Day 6: Free at leisure – Optional activities
Today is free for you to relax or choose an optional adventure: explore the stunning Amalfi Coast on a scenic day trip, hike the breathtaking Path of the Gods trail, or enjoy sailing and snorkelling in the crystal-clear Mediterranean waters.

Day 7: Transfer to Naples Airport & Fly Back to the UK
Depart your hotel in Sorrento for Naples Airport and fly back to the UK.

Days 7-9 : Optional Extensions to Sorrento
You could take a boat trip from Sorrento along the Italian Riviera, or a train or a boat into Naples and explore this vibrant city. If you prefer to stay in Sorrento, you could spend a few hours at a local pottery workshop painting a souvenir plate, mug and coaster that can be taken home as a memento of your holiday.
A visit to the lemon-scented gardens at Cataldo, Sorrento is also an enjoyable option. Entrance to the gardens is free, but for a small fee you can enjoy a factory tour and (for the adults!) limoncello tasting!
