Our adventure starts in Chiang Mai where we take a tour around some spectacularly ornate temples covered in gold or silver, enjoy a cooking class and designing and making our chocolate bar.

We then venture into the green hills surrounding Chiang Mai to visit an underground temple and enjoy a pleasurable journey down a river on a bamboo raft before we're entertained by at our Hmong tribe lodge.

Leaving Chiang Mai, we journey south and along the way visit and learn about the Lanna way of life before we explore the sprawling ancient complex of the Sukhothai Historical park by bicycle, and finishing off our amazing adventure on the canals of Bangkok.

Typical Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Depart UK

    Fly to Chiang Mai on an overnight flight.
  2. Day 2: Arrive Chiang Mai

    Transfer to our hotel, where the rest of the day is free for you to explore.
  3. Day 3: Temple Tour & Chocolate Making

    Today we explore Chiang Mai, where we visit Tapae Gate, Three Kings Monument, Wat Phra Singh and the silver-making district where we can admire the silver-covered Wat Sri Suphan. After lunch we make our own chocolate bar in working chocolate factory.
  4. Day 4: Cooking Class, Doi Suthep & Hmong Village Tour

    We start the day making some tasty Thai food for lunch followed by a visit to the impressive Doi Suthep and visit a Hmong tribal village.
  5. Day 5: Chiang Dao Cave & Bamboo Rafting

    Today we explore the underground temples of Chiang Dao Cave followed by a pleasurable float down river on a bamboo raft & stay in a Hmong Hilltribe lodge.
  6. Day 6: Drive to Sukhothai

    We leave Chiang Mai and drive to Sukhothai visiting a Lanna village project on the way to see the traditional way of life and village craft houses.

  7. Day 7: Buddha Amulet Making & Cycling tour of Sukhothai

    Spend the morning by the swimming pool, enjoy a Buddha Amulet workshop in the afternoon, and in the evening, enjoy a late afternoon and sunset cycling tour of the Sukhothai Archaeological Park.
  8. Day 8: Fly to Bangkok & Afternoon Klong Tour

    We catch a morning flight to Bangkok and enjoy a relaxing tour of Bagkok's klongs by long-tail boat.
  9. Day 9: Depart Bangkok & Arrive UK

    Transfer to Bangkok airport for your flight back to the UK.
  10. Days 9-11 : OPTIONAL EXTENSION: Kanchanaburi

    If you have time, why not spend a few extra nights in Kanchanaburi where you can see the famous Bridge Over The River Kwai, visit a beautiful national park and stay on a beautiful floating hotel? Contact your travel consultant for more information.
