This tailor-made family holiday starts in Delhi, where you can explore the colourful narrow alleyways of Old Delhi’s bazaar. Your journey then continues to Agra to watch a breathtaking sunrise over the Taj Mahal before driving to Ranthambore National Park in search of tigers.

Spend time exploring Jaipur, known as the Pink City, watch a Bollywood movie in a traditional cinema and finish your tour of Rajasthan in the sacred and historical cities of Pushkar and Udaipur enjoying sunset camel cart and boat rides.

Typical Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Depart UK

    Depart the UK on an overnight flight to Delhi.

  2. Day 2: Arrive Delhi

    Meet your guide for the trip, have an afternoon tour briefing and enjoy an evening at leisure in Delhi.

  3. Day 3: All day city tour of New & Old Delhi

    Go for a rickshaw ride through the maze of Old Delhi’s streets, see the Red Fort, take in the sights and aromas and visit Mahatma Gandhi’s cremation site. In New Delhi, visit the Crafts Museum and India’s National Rail Museum.
  4. Day 4: Visit Agra Fort & Baby Taj

    You transfer to Agra in the morning. In the afternoon, visit the Baby Taj and Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  5. Day 5: Taj Mahal at sunrise; drive to Ranthambore

    At sunrise, take a visit to the iconic Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jahan, taking 20 years to complete.

    Afterwards, drive to Ranthambore National Park via the Fatephur Sikri ghost town.

  6. Day 6: Ranthambore National Park: wildlife safaris

    Go out on safari in the morning and afternoon to spot wildlife on safari in Ranthambore National Park, known for its Royal Bengal tigers.

  7. Day 7: Evening cooking with a local family in Jaipur

    This morning, drive to Jaipur, the 'pink city' and capital of Rajasthan and in the evening visit a local family for an authentic cooking and dinner experience.
  8. Day 8: Visit the Amber Fort & Bollywood Film

    This morning, head to Amber Fort, a magnificent hill-top palace complex. This afternoon, there's a trip to the spectacular Raj Mandir Cinema to watch a Bollywood film.

  9. Day 9: Drive to Pushkar

    Set off early on a drive to Pushkar for an evening camel-cart safari around the town, taking in the amazing temples and beautiful sunset. Later, join a prayer ceremony by the sacred lake and Brahma Temple.

  10. Day 10: Drive to Udaipur

    Drive to Udaipur and in the evening enjoy a sunset boat ride on Pichola Lake, admiring the city lights and illuminated palaces.
  11. Day 11: Udaipur sightseeing & evening cultural show

    Take a guided tour of some of Udaipur's most glamorous and impressive temples and buildings. In the evening, enjoy a show in a grand Haveli of Rajasthani cultural performances.
  12. Day 12: Fly from Udaipur to Delhi & fly to UK

    Catch an internal flight from Udaipur to Delhi and then transfer to Delhi International Airport for your flight home.

  13. Day 13: Arrive UK

    Welcome home!
