Austria
All our family holidays in Austria are in Salzkammergut, the land of the Sound of Music.
The cheapest of our Austrian family holidays, on our walking trip you enjoy easy hikes, whilst other family friendly attractions include a cable-car ride and a visit to an ice palace.

If you want a multi-activity holiday in an alpine setting, our Active Austria trip offers cycling, canoeing, rock climbing and walking with llamas, with mountains and lakes as a constant companion.

Croatia
One of our best-selling destinations, Croatia is a perfect choice. Our Active Croatia itinerary stays in self-catering apartments, meaning you can budget for a supermarket shop, and know that you'll have plenty of cupboard space if you bring any staples from home in your suitcase! The pre-arranged activities on this family holiday are perfect for older kids who can't sit still, and include ziplining, a boat tour, kayaking, snorkelling, gorge walking and rafting.

Active Czech Republic
Combine time in Prague and Krkonose National Park as you get the perfect blend of city break and nature. Explore Prague by bicycle and pedalo to see the city from a different perspective. In the countryside, traverse a network of hiking trails in the Giant Mountains, take a summer bobsleigh ride and tackle a 432-metre-long high ropes course. For younger children, one of the hotels on this trip has a kids club.

Discover Crete
The Greek island of Crete is one of our top destinations on the list if you're looking for beach days with some activities thrown in for good measure! Based in Chania, your family can kayak, swim, paddleboard, snorkel and take a boat trip in the Mediterranean. Visit caves and a beach that's only accessible by boat, and on land, you can enjoy an e-bike tour and a gorge walk, where you may see vultures soaring overhead!

Active Gozo
A hidden gem in the Mediterranean, this family holiday on the Maltese island of Gozo combines land and sea activities. In the water, you try scuba diving in the crystal-blue water, before going above the waves on a kayak. With your feet back on firm ground, you cook a Gozitan dish before climbing high on an outdoor rock climbing and abseiling course. The hotel in Gozo has dedicated family rooms, meaning you don't have to pay extra for interconnecting rooms.

Portugal Family Surf School
Stay at a family friendly camp with photogenic tipi tents and enjoy surfing lessons which culminates with a surfing contest. After your exertions on the water, stretch your muscles with yoga sessions, and on one afternoon you can even skate with a professional skateboarder! If the kids want to sit out on a surf or yoga session, babysitting services ensure the parents don't miss out.

Active Pyrenees
Travel to the Spanish Pyrenees and stay in the Benasque region, as you enjoy mountain activities before retiring to your hotel with a swimming pool in the evenings! Hike to waterfalls and through valleys, mountain bike through a beautiful forest, go rock climbing, abseil, jump and slide down rivers and waterfalls and white-water raft on this action-packed week.

Finland Family Snow School
Skiing is a great activity for the whole family, but often once you consider the price of rental equipment and ski passes it can soon add up! This holiday includes ski lessons, equipment rental, a ski card and lift pass to offer you excellent value for money. If you're an experienced skiier or have your own equipment, we can also remove those costs to make your holiday even cheaper! In addition to skiing, you can meet reindeers and choose optional activities including ice-karting, sledging, river floating or snowshoeing.
