Our adventure begins in the historic capital, Prague, where centuries of history unfold in a relaxed and engaging way. A guided cycling tour introduces families to the city’s iconic landmarks, with plenty of time for stories, photo stops, rest breaks, and the occasional ice cream from Prague’s delightful cafés.
Leaving the city behind, we travel into the fairytale landscapes of Bohemian Paradise (Český ráj), renowned for its dramatic sandstone formations, lush forests, and medieval castles.
Highlights include a magical walk through the Prachov Rocks, winding between towering stone pillars straight out of a storybook. Families can enjoy gentle canoeing on the Jizera River, scenic mountain biking suited to mixed abilities, and an optional family-friendly via ferrata for a safe and exciting taste of climbing together.
One of the trip’s most memorable moments is a relaxed evening barbecue at atmospheric castle ruins, where families can unwind, share stories, and soak up the beauty of the Czech countryside as the sun sets.

Day 1: Depart UK & Arrive in Prague
On arrival, transfer to your accommodation, where the rest of the day's at leisure to explore the local area. -
Day 2: Prague by Bicycle
Explore the beautiful city of Prague by bike, taking in the stunning astronomical clock, Prague Castle, Wenceslas Square and many more.

Day 3: Prachov Rocks Hike
Enjoy a guided walk through a magical sandstone rock city, where dramatic formations, scenic viewpoints, and engaging stories bring one of the Czech Republic’s most iconic natural landscapes to life. -
Day 4: Mountain Biking in Hruboskalsko
Explore the Hruboskalsko UNESCO Geopark by bicycle, combining easy trails, dramatic sandstone rock formations, impressive castles like Trosky and Valdštejn, lunch at Hrubá Skála, and breathtaking views. This is a memorable mountain bike ride through the heart of Bohemian Paradise. -
Day 5: Via Ferrata & Barbecue at Castle Ruins
Today, enjoy a beginner-friendly via ferrata experience, learning essential safety and movement skills under professional guidance while progressing from easy to more challenging routes and capturing unforgettable memories along the way.
The afternoon is at leisure to relax by a local lake or take part in optional activities, such as archery, jewellery making or a visit to the Dolomite Caves.
In the evening, visit a castle ruin for a barbecue and campfire experience, learning drum skills and listening to Czech myths and legends. For those wanting more of an adventure, there's also the option to sleep overnight at the castle in a hammock under the stars.

Day 6: Canoeing & Kick Scooters
This morning, enjoy an easy 6.5 kilometre paddle on the Jizera River from Malá Skála, gliding through scenic bends and past sandstone formations on a gentle, beginner-friendly route.
In the afternoon, ride kick scooters back to Malá Skála along the scenic and easy Greenway Jizera path, enjoying forests, riverside views, charming villages, and a fun dose of adventure.

Day 7: Family Treasure Hunt
Take part in an interactive geo-location adventure, combining gentle hiking, outdoor exploration, and fun puzzles that encourage teamwork while discovering the area’s beautiful scenery. -
Day 8: Transfer to Prague Airport & Fly to UK
Transfer to Prague airport for your flight home.
