Take to new heights with a cable car ride up Dachstein Mountain, where panoramic views await. Brave the spectacular Dachstein Gletscher suspension bridge, venture inside the dazzling Ice Palace carved into the glacier, and round off your adventure with family fun at the Rittisberg Adventure Zone.

Typical Itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Salzburg & transfer to Schladming
Use public transport or ask us to arrange a private transfer for you to get to your hotel in Schladming. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the many activities available in the town.

Day 2: Hike through the Talbach Canyon
Enjoy a gentle introductory walk along the ‘Wild Waters’ path in the Talbach canyon, and enjoy free time in the afternoon to explore Schladming.

Day 3: Hike the Sheep Path at Hauser Kaibling
Take the cable car up to the top Hauser Kaibling and walk through summer sheep pastures learning about the Ennstal Valley and possibly meeting the 800-strong sheep herd.

Day 4: Hike the ‘Valley of Falling Water’
Enjoy a pleasurable hike around three different lakes surrounded by waterfalls and green valleys.

Day 5: Glosalm & Bachlalm Circular trail
Take in the views of the imposing Dachstein Sudwand as you hike through Alpine forests and across summer pastures alive with inquisitive marmots.

Day 6: Day of Adventure at Dachstein Gletscher
Take the cable car up the Dachstein and explore the ice palace, viewing platforms and dare to walk across a bridge suspended 400 metres above ground.

Day 7: Free day to explore the Rittisberg
Experience the peace and adrenaline at the Rittisberg Alpine Discovery Zone by exploring the quiet walking trails and taking on the Rittisberg Coaster.

Day 8: Fly back to the UK
Use public transport or ask us to arrange a private transfer for you to get from Ramsau to Salzburg airport for your flight home.
