Firstly we have some great new trips in Europe available for 2025 that we’re all very excited about that offer something slightly different to our range of exciting multi-activity holidays:
1. Knights & Castles of Czech Republic
With departures from Easter to October, this is a fun and unusually themed exploration of the beautiful medieval towns and cities of the Czech Republic. You stay in a delightful Medieval themed resort in Detenice where you can watch an exciting knights tournament, explore the old buildings and grounds, and enjoy themed banquets and meals. Then you visit two UNESCO World Heritage towns of Kutna Hora and Cesky Krumlov where you visit interesting museums, learn some medieval writing skills and experience a wooden raft tour. The tour ends in the wonderful city of Prague, where you're taken on a nighttime tour of the city’s ghostly past and a wonderful day time tour of the cities iconic medieval sites.
2. Transylvania Halloween Adventure
Our new October half-term trip is in the best place for a Halloween special - Romania! This is an amazing blend of culture, nature, underground theme parks, and home to the most famous Halloween icon, Count Dracula himself. During this week long tour you visit stunning open-air cultural museums and vast underground mines that have been turned into a theme park, ride through the villages of Transylvania on a horse drawn carriage. To finish off on a real high, have a Halloween party and explore the secret passages of the castle that inspired the legend behind Bram Stoker's Dracula and see the delightful brown bears of the Zarnesti Bear Sanctuary.
It's not only in Europe we have exciting new trips; further afield we've also introduced some amazing new itineraries in Asia, North America and Africa:
3. Indonesia
After the BBC’s latest series of Race Across The World in April 2024 ended in the tropical island paradise of Indonesia, we introduced two new amazing adventures to showcase some of the very best that Indonesia has to offer. Our Java & Bali Highlights trip will have you sampling the delicious street food of Yogyakarta, cycling through villages, taking a jeep safari across a volcano, white water rafting and relaxing on Balinese beaches. On our Indonesian Island Family Adventure you can explore ancient jungle covered temples, learn to SUP in Bali, hike through the jungles of Lombok and snorkel amongst the corals of the Gili Islands. You can even choose to extend your trip by taking a mini cruise to search for the mighty Komodo dragons.
4. Canada
Canada is a huge country full of spectacular landscapes, modern cities and incredible wildlife viewing opportunities. The first of our new Canada itineraries Rockies Adventure takes you on an awe-inspiring journey through Canada’s Rocky Mountains starting in Calgary, through Banff and Jasper National Parks to Whistler with adventures of white-water rafting, ziplining, bear spotting and more along the way. If western Canada wasn’t on your list then we can send you on our Eastern Canada Family Discovery from Toronto to Montreal via Quebec with the famous Niagara Falls, maple-covered hills, wolf safaris and whale watching, and maybe even experiencing a hockey match in one of Canada’s impressive cities.
5. Tribal Adventure in Tanzania
This new offering in Tanzania is more than just a safari. Tanzania has over 120 different tribes that make their home in this stunning East African destination, and you’ll have the opportunity to meet the Chagga tribe. Your action-packed trip includes hiking on the highest mountain in Africa, Kilimanjaro, cycling through coffee farms, exploring caves and waterfalls and swimming in hot springs. Then meet the Datoga tribe and learn their age-old blacksmith craft, take a safari in Lake Manyara National Park and Lake Eyasi for amazing game viewing, and also experience Tanzania’s first canopy walkway. The last tribal experience is with the Hadzabe Bushmen, one of the last hunter gatherer tribes, where you can learn about their hunting and survival skills. End in Arusha watching the birds and animals wander by your peaceful lodge.
It’s not just the new trips we love - we also have some excellent and highly popular existing trips that we strongly recommend booking early to avoid disappointment of missing out on due to flights selling out accommodation being full or places on the trip being full:
6. Finland Family Snow School
This excellent extended winter option has departures in December, February and Easter and is an excellent choice for all families wanting a skiing break away from the crowded slopes and pistes of the big European ski resorts. Based in the Arctic Circle town of Ruka, there are excellent uncrowded slopes suitable for all levels of skiing ability. You’ll be given three ski lessons with expert instructors and the opportunity to take part in a fantastic variety of other optional activities from snowshoeing, ice karting, river floating, husky sledding and visiting a reindeer farm. With a limited number of airlines that fly to this area of Finland and popularity of optional activities, this is one of our trips that we recommend you book in advance to get the best flight options and your pick of optional activities before they’re all gone.
7. Azores Family Adventure
Based on the largest island of the Azores Archipelago, Sao Miguel, this trip is a great blend of activity and natural highlights, where you discover volcanic lakes, explore lava tunnels, eat meals cooked in volcanic ground, explore green canyons and look for the resident whale population of the Azores. It's an excellent place to visit and definitely one to put on your must-visit list. The location of the Azores and the size of islands means that the season is relatively short to get the best weather, and there are limited hotel options which will fill up quickly, so this is another one of our popular trips that we advise you book early to ensure there is still availability of hotels during the popular summer months.
8. Namibia Wildlife Adventure
Namibia is one of Africa’s most beautiful and finest wildlife destinations. Not only are the wildlife spotting opportunities first class, but there are amazing cultural highlights to experience too. On this expertly guided overland journey you visit the central bushlands to visit cheetah, the Etosha National Park that's excellent for spotting elephant, lion, leopard and rhino, and the Atlantic coast where you can dune board or cruise with dolphins and seals. Another massive highlight is Damaraland to meet the Damara tribe and walk the bush and rocks with them to discover ancient rock art. This is another popular trip, and the vehicles we use are limited to just ten people and they fill up fast, as do the summer flights from the UK to Namibia. So if Namibia is for you then book it now so you don’t miss out!
To round off our top picks for 2025 we have our best-selling trips and destinations of Costa Rica and Croatia which are popular and sell out year on year:
