• "Just to let you know we had a fantastic time in Thailand and wish were still there!! Our Guide Apple was fantastic and the children loved her to bits. The trip was very well organized and I would recommend it to other families. The Grand Palace in Bangkok was amazing as were the ruins in Athuya. The children just loved all the tuk tuk rides!!! The over night train was an experience, especially as it had to reverse backwards for an hour so it could have another go at getting up the hill!! It was only made for small people as well, not 6ft tall men. All enjoyed the experience though. The elephant camp was good and we got to ride on an elephant and go bamboo rafting, although we could of done without the show. In Cambodia, the hotel was fantastic, great breakfasts and service. Angor Wat was just out of this world as well. Well worth doing the extension. Looking where to go next year now. Kerala seems to be calling!" The whole week was summed up on New Year's Eve, when, in the midst of a splendid Tepee evening, the youngsters collecting wood for the fire rushed inside to announce that the Northern Lights had appeared. We were treated to a magnificent display of the Aurora Borealis, unbelievably stirring in a majestic show of the natural phenomenon.
