1. Tropical Thailand

Travelling in an iconic long-tail boat, we set out to snorkel in the coral-fringed reefs of the Andaman Sea, looking out for colourful fish. We then spend two days in Khao Sok National Park, where we hope to find elephants, gibbons and exotic birds amidst the tropical jungle habitats. Laid-back Krabi is popular with rock climbers due to its impressive limestone cliffs; we explore some of the interesting rock formations during our cave kayaking experience, before marvelling at the emerald-green pool of Sra Morakot. The Thai cuisine is another highlight of this trip to paradise!   

2. Wild Costa Rica

Three-toed sloth in Costa Rica Costa Rica is becoming a firm favourite with families. This tour celebrates the country’s rich biodiversity and natural wonders. The magnificent La Paz Waterfall and gardens are teeming with brightly-coloured hummingbirds and on kayak excursions through Tortuguero National Park, on the Caribbean coast, we have the chance to see nesting turtles. A unique floating safari takes us tubing or rafting on the Sarapiqui River, we also cross hanging bridges, high in the rainforest canopy, and bathe in a natural volcanic spa! As we venture into the mysterious cloudforests, we may discover three-toed sloths, tree frogs, howler monkeys and a wide array of exotic birds.

3. Moroccan Atlantic Adventure

This tour comprises two days of learning to surf with expert instructors, a 2-day camel trek along the coastline, and time to explore the beautiful Moroccan surroundings. We begin in Paradise Valley, in the shadow of the Atlas Mountains, before riding camels in the direction of Essaouira, a fishing port town with bustling souks and old city walls. Based near the beautiful Lake Bled, we’re surrounded by glacial lakes, snow-capped mountains and forested trails which are ideal terrain for our adventures. Canyoning in the natural waterslides of Jereka River and white-water rafting on the Sava River are two of the highlights, but we also experience sensational hikes, rock climbing, cycling and even summer tobogganing.   

5. Pharaohs, Feluccas and Pyramids

The Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx in Egypt An Egyptologist guide immerses us in the fascinating world of Ancient Egypt, where we discover remnants of an ancient civilisation around Cairo, the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and Pharaoh Tutankhamen’s tomb in the Valley of Kings. After sailing on the iconic River Nile in a traditional felucca, we have the option to explore more of Egypt’s ancient wonders on a camel ride through the dusty, sand-covered landscapes. Egypt’s markets, tombs and impressive temples conceal many mysterious artefacts, mummified crocodiles at Kom Ombo and hieroglyphic symbols among them.

6. Andes & Amazon Family Adventure

Ecuador is a magnet for wildlife lovers, with more than 400 bird and 25 butterfly species in the Mindo Cloud Forest alone. On reaching the equator, or The Middle of the World, we can try to balance an egg on a nail and enjoy a chocolate factory tour! Then we head into the depths of the Amazon Rainforest, which is home to capybara, tapir, giant river otters and jaguars! If you’re daring enough, you can try the ‘Swing at the End of the World’ and admire breathtaking vistas from 2,660 metres above sea level. After the Amazon, we choose between canyoning or ziplining, then visit Cotopaxi National Park - one of the world’s tallest active volcanoes. We even go horse riding with real Andean cowboys.

7. Discover Crete

Many of Crete’s treasures are discovered in the water, from hidden sea caves and secluded bays to sunken shipwrecks. Our kayaking tour follows the coastline, with opportunities to swim and snorkel to interesting underwater sites. Other ways to explore the Mediterranean Sea include scuba diving, stand-up paddleboarding and a scenic boat ride. Inland, we can try delectable Cretan cuisine, visit an archaeological dig site, and see the ancient ruins at Polyrrinia. We also ride e-bikes through pretty villages and watch for griffon vultures flying overhead as we hike to a local gorge.

8. South Africa Family Adventure & Safari

At night, we unwind in a relaxing Finnish sauna and hope to witness the breathtaking spectacle of the Northern Lights.
