Halong Bay

Visit the spectacular World Heritage site of Halong Bay, board your sailing junk – boat and cruise among some of the 3,000 dramatic limestone peaks. Swim in the famed South China Sea and explore caves filled with stunning stalactites and stalagmites.

A sailing junk has all mod cons and is a fully-equipped vessel. The en-suite cabins are cosy with tiled bathrooms and hot water, and air-conditioning available when the temperature is uncomfortable. There is a dining room and bar where you’ll be served up delicious local cuisine. Breakfasts usually consist of bread with butter and jam, eggs and fresh fruit. Lunch and dinner gives you opportunity to sample an array of fresh seafood such as crabs, prawns, squid and a variety of fish, all cooked with traditional Vietnamese flavours.
