Namibia is rich in wildlife, with animals including cheetah, elephant, lions and rhino. And a catamaran cruise at Walvis Bay gives you the opportunity to see dolphins and turtles.

You can climb some of Africa’s highest sand dunes in the Namib Desert, as well as spend a night there.

The indigenous Himba people are known for decorating themselves with red ochre and you can find out more about their way of life.

Namibia is a huge country, so be prepared for some long travelling days. But it will all be worth it.
