The Czech Republic is famed for the cultured city of Prague, a mass of cobbled streets and concealed courtyards.

St Vitus’ Cathedral is home to the remains of Good King Wenceslas, plus a number of gargoyles.

The famous Charles Bridge, traversing two historic neighbourhoods, is dotted with the statues of various saints, leading the way to the Old Town Square.

The Czech Republic is also home to beautiful UNESCO World Heritage towns like Cesky Krumlov where you can take historical tours through the town on traditional wooden rafts or go to the small town of Detenice for a stay in an exciting medieval-themed resort full of knights and witches.

There are beautiful countryside areas to explore like the Krkonose National Park to the north of Prague that offers spectacular scenery, beautiful hikes and thrilling adventure parks.
