Insects may be small but they pack a powerful punch and work relentlessly, usually out of sight (and very often out of mind) to keep our ecosystems ticking over. (In fact, they could be seen as the heroes of the natural world!)
Children - join us in celebrating the humble insect by designing your very own!
Whether flying, underground, bright or barely seen, we want to see your creations! Let your imaginations run wild and create a drawing, painting or mini-beast sculpture of your perfect insect. To enter send photos of the lovable, scary or just downright wacky design to our team for the chance to win a copy of the soon-to-be published Bloomsbury book by Helen Pilcher (in association with the RHS) called The Pocket Book of Garden Experiments.

Please send a photo of the insect design, along with the designer’s name and age to team@familiesworldwide.co.uk before 16 May for a chance to win!

2) There are three copies of The Pocket Book of Garden Experiments to give away.
3) Entrants need to be under 14
4) By entering the competition you are agreeing for the picture of your design to be used by Families Worldwide on our website, social media and in future marketing material.
5) The winners will be chosen by the Families Worldwide team by 31st May and notified by email.
8) The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. Our decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
