Pokhara

The lake-side setting of Pokhara beneath the Annapurna range is delightful. We strongly recommend some time here perhaps before or after a walk in the Himalayas.

Stroll around the shore of Lake Phewa or browse through the bazaars – hopefully with a view of some of the most majestic mountains on earth rising above you. The dominant peak is the fish-tailed summit of Machhapuchhre at 6,977 metres.
