Fly from the UK to Poprad in Slovakia, where you're met and transferred to your accommodation in a mountain village in the Tatra National Park.
Alternatively, you can fly into Krakow Airport in Poland, with a transfer to the Tatras available for an additional supplement.

You can choose to ski down the slope instead of walking if you would prefer!
-
Day 4: Dog sledding & thermal pools
Transfer to the heart of the Tatras Mountains, famous for its dramatic ridges, hillside meadows, caves and distinctive rock formations, partially covered with snow. You have the chance to explore this landscape by dog sled, which is great fun in itself.
After exploring the park, you can look forward to a spot of relaxation at the thermal water park. Here you can find both indoor and outdoor thermal pools, as well as saunas, jacuzzis and a wellness centre, to leave you feeling warm and refreshed.
-
Day 5: Snowshoe hike from Zdiar along the Tatras Smugglers path
See a typical Goral village, where we can explore the traditional wooden buildings and find out more about their culture and customs.
We then take a scenic hike along an old smuggler's path across the mountain ridge.
-
Day 6: Downhill skiing from Tatranska Lomnica
The slopes at Tatranska Lomnica, Slovakia’s highest ski resort, attract skiers of every level of skill and experience. The day is yours to enjoy the slopes, practice skiing or snowboarding, or take a cable car to Lomnicky Stit Peak for panoramic views of the surrounding mountain range.
-
Day 7: Free day: optional activities
Your last day in Slovakia is free for you to choose from the optional activities or excursions on offer. Perhaps explore some of the local culture or open-air museums. Alternatively you might wish to head back to the slopes to practice some more skiing or snowboarding.
-
Day 8: Return to the UK
After breakfast, a timed transfer takes you back to Poprad for your return flight to the UK.
