Day 1: Fly to Nepal
Depart on your overnight flight, beginning your family adventure to Nepal. -
Day 2: Arrive in Kathmandu
Upon arrival, meet with your guide and transfer to your hotel. Settle in and enjoy your first taste of Nepal’s vibrant capital

Day 3: Kathmandu to Lumbini
Leave the busy Kathmandu Valley behind and travel west to peaceful Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha. Settle into your hotel and enjoy some time to relax, or explore the tranquil gardens and surrounding wetlands. -
Day 4: Discover Lumbini & Jagdishpur Wetlands
Explore the sacred sites of Lumbini, including Maya Devi Temple, the Ashoka Pillar and the colourful Monastic Zone. Later, head to Jagdishpur Reservoir, an important wetland and haven for hundreds of bird species. -
Day 5: Journey to Bardia National Park
Continue into the Terai plains and towards the remote wilderness of Bardia National Park. Settle into your lodge and enjoy your first glimpse of the forests and grasslands that are home to some of Nepal’s most exciting wildlife. -
Day 6: Wildlife Safari in Bardia
Get ready for a full day of wildlife adventure in Bardia National Park. Explore the wilderness by jeep with an expert guide, looking out for rhinos, wild elephants, deer, monkeys and, with luck, the elusive Bengal tiger. -
Day 7: Birds, Tracks & Hidden Wilderness
Slow things down today as your naturalist guide reveals Bardia’s fascinating smaller wonders. Search for colourful birds, follow animal tracks and explore the park’s quieter corners on foot or around its rivers and forests. -
Day 8: Bardia to Chitwan National Park
Today you travel to Chitwan National Park, another of Nepal’s wildlife-rich wilderness areas. Settle into your lodge and learn about the exciting jungle adventures ahead. -
Day 9: Jungle Adventures in Chitwan
Explore Chitwan on foot and by jeep, searching for rhinos, deer, monkeys, wild boar and colourful birdlife. Learn to spot animal tracks and signs before enjoying a traditional Tharu cultural performance in the evening. -
Day 10: Safari & River Adventure
Continue your Chitwan adventure with a jeep safari through forests and grasslands before taking to the river. Look out for crocodiles, kingfishers and other wildlife along the banks, then enjoy a relaxing sundowner surrounded by the sounds of the jungle. -
Day 11: Chitwan to Kathmandu
Leave Chitwan behind and journey back to Kathmandu. Enjoy a free afternoon for sightseeing, exploring the markets, or picking up some last-minute souvenirs. -
Day 12: Fly Home
After breakfast, transfer to Kathmandu Airport for your return flights to the UK, taking home memories of Nepal’s wildlife, landscapes and fascinating cultures.

Add extra adventure to your Nepal journey with an extension to beautiful Pokhara and the Annapurna foothills.
