Your action packed itinerary starts with a walking safari to see white rhinos, and a boat trip to see crocodiles basking beneath Murchison Falls. After chimp tracking in the forests of Kibale, enjoy game drives and boat safaris in Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to tree climbing lions and abundant bird life. Meet local students and cattle farmers and hike in the Mount Rwenzori region before ending an incredible family adventure with one of the greatest wildlife experiences on the planet – gorilla tracking!

Day 1: Depart UK
Depart the UK on an overnight flight to Entebbe.

Day 2: Arrive Entebbe
A representative will meet you on arrival at Entebbe Airport and transfer you to your accommodation.

Day 3: Rhinos & Murchison Falls
Start your tour with a visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, and a walking safari to see the southern white rhinos that have been re-introduced to Uganda.
In the afternoon, transfer to Murchison Falls, Uganda’s largest national park.

Day 4: Wildlife safari & river cruise
This morning enjoy a vehicle safari across the open savannah in search of lions, leopard, hyena, buffalo, and elephant, and enjoy spotting the abundant birds to be found here. In the afternoon take a boat trip along the Nile to Murchison Falls for a hike to the top of the falls.

Day 5: Kibale National Park
There are options to fly or drive to Kibale National Park. A drive will take you via Fort Portal, seeing several tea plantations on the way.

Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking
Track the most famous inhabitants of Kibale National Park - its chimps. The forest is also home to a host of other primates. In the afternoon, visit a local school and meet some of the teachers and students.

Day 7: Mount Rwenzori hike & transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today offers you the chance to see Uganda's natural beauty at its best on a hike in the in Rwenzori mountain range. Afterwards proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which boasts one of the highest bio-diversity ratings of any wildlife park.

Day 8: Wildlife safari, salt lake & boat trip
Your day starts early with a morning safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park,home to over 100 mammal species, including lions, hippos, buffalos, leopard, spotted hyena, elephants and the elusive giant forest hog.
Later, visit the salt lake of Lake Katwe and then enjoy a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel.

Day 9: Transfer to Ishasha; wildlife safari
Transfer to Ishasha in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you can search for the fascinating tree-climbing lions.

Day 10: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Travel to one of the most beautiful parts of Uganda, passing beautiful mountain terraces on the way - it's no wonder that this area of the country is called the Switzerland of Uganda!

Day 11: Gorilla tracking
Today is the highlight of your Uganda adventure: a challenging trek in the mountains of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in search of gorillas. Tracking the mountain gorilla is probably one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on Earth; the trek can take up to six hours, but is well worth the effort, with your ranger emparting valuable facts along the way.
Note: There is a minimum age of 15 years for the gorilla trekking. Children under this age will be taken to visit the neighbouring communities instead.

Day 12: Lake Mburo National Park
Drive to Lake Mburo National Park, which offers a mosaic-like habitat with rocks, dry slopes, open and wooded savannahs, forests and swamps. In the evening enjoy a vehicle safari, a great time to see the resident wildlife as they venture out as the sun goes down.

Day 13: Transfer to Entebbe & fly back to the UK
Transfer back to Entebbe for your return overnight flight to the UK.

Day 14: Arrive UK
