After arriving into Bergen, jump straight on the Flåm Railway - one of Norway’s most spectacular attractions - travelling past mountains and gorges through the heart of the fjord region, famous for its traditional way of life and beautiful scenery. Enjoy a RIB safari in the heart of the fjords, snowshoe across the outstanding landscapes and learn about the Viking traditions with a tasty Viking meal. Head to an alpine hotel for some skiing, snow racing and husky sledging in the mountains in addition to an idyllic horse and sleigh ride through the magical winter wonderland. Finish your family adventure by riding to the top of Mount Fløyen and exploring the cobbled streets and old buildings of Bergen.
Typical Itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Bergen & ride the scenic Flåm railway through the fjords
On arrival into Bergen, jump straight on the Flåm Railway that takes you through the heart of the fjords, passing rivers, gorges and magnificent snow-covered mountainsides.

Day 2: RIB safari & Stegastein viewpoint
Take a boat trip into spectacular Aurlandsfjord and Naeroyfjord in an open RIB, where you can witness beautiful villages and stunning scenery.
Then take a trip up to the famous Stegastein viewpoint, where you can enjoy spectacular views across the landscape.

Day 3: Snowshoeing tour, floating sauna experience & fjord swim
Head out into the magical winter wonderland for a snowshoeing tour through the breathtaking mountains, followed by a floating sauna experience and for those who dare, a revitalising jump in the fjord. -
Day 4: Fjord cruise & Viking village
Take a cruise through Naerofjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, passing frozen waterfalls and dramatic mountain scenery. In the afternoon, visit a Viking village to see how the famous Norsemen and women lived and worked, with activities available such as archery, axe-throwing, traditional games and crafts.

Day 5: Skiing, snow racing, husky safari & horse & sleigh ride
Spend the day on the mountain with ski lessons and a fun snow-race with your family down the mountain. Meet an energetic team of huskies for a thrilling ride and finish with an idyllic winter horse and sleigh ride.

Day 6: Journey to Bergen
Choose to take part in the activities on offer at Voss, Norway’s extreme sports capital, or head straight to Bergen.

Day 7: Free Day in Bergen. Option to ride the Fløibanen funicular to Mount Fløyen
Stroll amongst the old wooden houses and narrow alleys, or choose to ride to the top of Mount Fløyen by funicular to discover the mysterious Troll Forest, hiking trails and large children’s playground.
If you're visiting in December, you may like to continue your exploration of the city with a visit to the Christmas markets and the world’s largest gingerbread village.
Outside of December, Bergen has plenty to see and do including the aquarium, Hanseatic Museum and climbing park.

Day 8: Fly back to the UK
Transfer back to Bergen airport for your flight back to the UK.
