As soon as you step foot in Norway, the adventure begins, travelling the Flåm Railway - considered to be one of Norway’s most spectacular attractions and Europe’s most scenic train ride - from Bergen to Myrdal, and then onwards to Flåm. The train takes you through stunning mountain scenery and gorges through the heart of the fjord region, famous for its traditional way of life and beautiful scenery.
Meet people living like the Vikings and enjoy a Viking-stye lunch, cruise the Naeroyfjord UNESCO landscape, kayak on the longest ice-free fjord in the world, hike to several waterfalls and take an exhilarating white water rafting trip on the Jostedal River.
Hike to Mount Molden, take a boat tour of Nigard Lake, followed by a glacier hike, before finishing with a bike ride along a beautiful glacier-fed lake (optional).
Typical Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Bergen. Ride the Flåm Railway
On arrival into Bergen, you catch an airport express bus to catch one of Norway’s most spectacular attractions, the Flåm Railway.
Travel for 3.5 hours, passing rivers, gorges, waterfalls and mountain farms clinging to steep slopes as you make your way to Flåm.

Day 2: Viking town and cruise Naroyfjord
This morning you visit the Njardarheim Viking town, learning about the history and how they once lived as well as the opportunity to take part in axe throwing and bow shooting.
In the afternoon, take a cruise through UNESCO-listed Naroyfjord from Gudvangen to Flåm, with opportunity to see seals and eagles that inhabit the area.

Day 3: Kayaking and Hiking
After breakfast, grab a paddle and head out on kayaks into Aardalfjord, a beautiful emerald-green fjord set within a dramatic landscape and the longest ice free fjord in the world.
In the afternoon, hike scenic trails through the valley of waterfalls, visiting the highest non-regulated, freefalling waterfall in Northern Europe, Vettisfossen.

Day 4: White water rafting at Jostedal River
An action-packed day awaits as you take part in an exhilarating white water rafting excursion, known locally as ‘The Elvepurka trip’ or ‘Trip of the River Pig’. -
Day 5: Nigard Lake Boat Trip and Glacier Hike
Take a boat ride on the idyllic Nigard Lake, then walk with an expert guide on a glacier. -
Day 6: Hike to Mount Molden
Head out on one of Norway’s most scenic hikes at the Molden Mountain. Starting with pine and spruce forests, walk to Svarthiller mountain pasture, with views over the Lusterfjord and then onwards to the top. -
Day 7: Day at Leisure or RIB boat ride and Cycle Veitastrond Lake
Choose to spend the day relaxing and looking back on your memories of the previous week, or take a RIB boat ride on Veitatrond lake, followed by an e-bike cycle back to Hafslo, along the emerald-green lake.

Day 8: Depart Norway
Transfer back to Sogndal to take the express boat back to Bergen for your return flight home. -
Days 8-10 : OPTIONAL EXTENSION: Bergen
You can easily stay a few nights in Bergen pre or post-tour, where you can ride the funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen, wander the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bryggen and taste some of the best Norwegian seafood at the fish market.
