Upon arrival in Kuala Lumpur, transfer to your accommodation and relax by the pool or start exploring the city. Book a food tour this evening, where a local guide can take you to Jalan Alor to sample street food. -
Day 3: Pewter Crafting & Batik Painting
You're free to spend the morning at the pool, head to a nearby waterpark, or explore many of the city's vibrant markets and shopping malls.
This afternoon offers a hands-on introduction to some of Malaysia’s traditional crafts – pewter-making and batik painting. Learn about these crafts before tapping into your own creativity, making some keepsakes to take home.

Day 4: Free Day – Melaka, Batu Caves or Exploring Kuala Lumpur
Today is free to continue exploring Kuala Lumpur or head south to Melaka, historically known as Malacca, for an immersive cultural and historical tour of the UNESCO-listed city.
You could also visit the iconic Batu Caves, that are more than 400 million years old; ascend the famous 272 colourful steps, encounter playful monkeys, and explore the limestone caves. On your return to the Kuala Lumpur, stop for a seafood dinner and ride a boat upstream to witness a spectacular display of fireflies across the mangroves.

Day 5: Travel to Cameron Highlands & Afternoon Tea
Leave the city behind and travel north to the cool mountain air of the Cameron Highlands. After your journey, enjoy afternoon tea at a charming, Tudor-style country house - The Smokehouse Hotel & Restaurant. -
Day 6: Cameron Highlands Tour

Day 7: Travel to Belum-Temenggor Rainforest
Today is a journey of contrast, taking you from the cool mountain landscapes of the highlands to the heart of Malaysia’s ancient, tropical wilderness, and one of the oldest tropical rainforests in the world. -
Day 8: Rainforest Adventure
Enjoy a full day adventure in Royal Belum State Park, starting with a scenic boat journey across Temenggor Lake where you can look for Asian elephants, hornbills and playful otters along the shoreline. Take a jungle trek, stop at Sungai Kooi Waterfall and meet the Temiar tribe, for a fascinating cultural encounter to learn insights into their traditional forest lifestyle. -
Day 9: Travel to Penang via Gua Tempurung Cave Temple
On route to Penang, stop at the mining town of Ipoh. Here, visit the Gua Tempurung cave temple, a large cave system where Buddhist statues and shrines are nestled amongst striking rock formations. -
Day 10: Family Fun in Penang
Today, visit Entopia Butterfly Farm and Penang National Park for a boat cruise around the coast to Teluk Duyung, also known as Monkey Beach; here, enjoy a picnic and some time to relax. -
Day 11: Day at Leisure in Penang
On this free day, you can join a trishaw street art tour, wander the UNESCO-listed streets of Georgetown, or spend the day at Batu Ferringhi Beach to end your time in Malaysia. -
Day 12: Depart Kuala Lumpur
Depart from Penang Airport to fly home to the UK.
