  1. Day 1: Depart UK

  2. Day 2: Arrive Delhi - City Tour of New Delhi

    Meet your guide and explore New Delhi’s elegant boulevards, passing India Gate, the Presidential Palace and Parliament House. Continue to the National Crafts Museum to discover India’s rich artisan heritage, from textiles to tribal art, and a recreated village of working craftspeople.

    Return to your hotel to relax after a first taste of Delhi’s culture and history.

  3. Day 3: Delhi to Pushkar: Rail Journey & Sacred Desert Town

    Board an early train west to Ajmer. See rural scenes of Rajasthan unfold outside your window. On arrival, meet your driver for the scenic drive into Pushkar, where the desert softens around a sacred lake and whitewashed temples.

    This afternoon, enjoy a camel cart ride through Pushkar’s lanes and surrounding countryside. Visit the sacred lake and Brahma Temple, before watching the desert glow in the golden light of sunset. As evening falls over Pushkar, gather at Varah Ghat to witness the magical aarti ceremony.

  4. Day 4: Pushkar to Jaipur: Colours of Rajasthan

    This morning, leave behind the peaceful charm of Pushkar as you travel through Rajasthan’s sun-baked countryside towards Jaipur, the vibrant capital of the state.

    On arrival, step straight into the energy of the ‘Pink City’ with a guided walking tour through its bustling streets and lively bazaars. This evening, enjoy a special local experience as you're welcomed into a Jaipur family home to cook, chat and share a traditional meal together.

  5. Day 5: Jaipur: Forts, Palaces & Bollywood

    This morning, enjoy a optional cycle through Jaipur’s quieter backstreets, discovering the hidden rhythms of the ‘Pink City’ at an easy pace. Continue to the magnificent Amer Fort, where grand courtyards, ornate halls and sweeping views bring Rajasthan’s royal history to life.

    Later, explore Jaipur’s City Palace and the astronomical wonders of Jantar Mantar, before taking in the city’s colourful stories and heritage. This evening, experience a true local favourite with a visit to the iconic Raj Mandir Cinema for a fun Bollywood film screening.

  6. Day 6: Jaipur to Ranthambore: Into Tiger Country

    After an early start, leave Jaipur behind and journey further into the rural landscapes of Rajasthan towards Ranthambore National Park.

    This afternoon, explore the impressive Ranthambore Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site set high above the forest. Wander its ancient walls, temples and viewpoints, with sweeping views across the surrounding jungle that hint at the wildlife-rich wilderness hidden below.

  7. Day 7: Ranthambore: Tiger Safaris

    Today's dedicated to exploring Ranthambore National Park on morning and afternoon game drives. Set out through the forest in search of the park’s famous wildlife, including the elusive Bengal tiger, alongside deer, monkeys, crocodiles and a rich variety of birdlife. With its dramatic landscapes of forest, lakes and ancient ruins, Ranthambore offers one of India’s most thrilling safari experiences.
  8. Day 8: Ranthambore to Bharatpur: Birdlife & Wetlands

    After an early breakfast, say goodbye to the wild landscapes of Ranthambore and travel to Bharatpur, home to one of the world’s most important bird sanctuaries.

    This afternoon, enjoy a guided visit to Keoladeo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its network of wetlands, marshes and woodland trails, where thousands of migratory and resident birds can be seen, along with deer and other wildlife. 

  9. Day 9: Bharatpur to Agra: Fatehpur Sikri & Mughal Grandeur

    After a relaxed start this morning, leave Bharatpur behind and travel towards Agra, home of the Taj Mahal. En route, explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Fatehpur Sikri, the striking former Mughal capital, and discover the story of a city abandoned at the height of its power.

    On arrival in Agra, visit the impressive Agra Fort, a powerful riverside fortress filled with palaces, halls and courtyards. From here, enjoy your first unforgettable glimpses of the Taj Mahal across the Yamuna River.

  10. Day 10: Agra to Delhi: Taj Mahal Sunrise & Old Delhi

    Rise early for a magical sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, watching its marble glow change with the first light of day. After breakfast, say farewell to Agra as you return to Delhi.

    On arrival, explore the vibrant heart of Old Delhi, where narrow lanes, bustling bazaars and rich aromas capture the city’s timeless energy. Experience its lively streets and cultural heritage before returning to your hotel for your final evening in India.

  11. Day 11: Departure

    After a final breakfast, you're transferred to Delhi Airport for your flight home, taking with you the colours, flavours and stories of India.
