On our Lycian Family Adventure, we spend a week exploring the beautiful Lycian area of Turkey. From our resort base in Ölüdeniz, we discover deserted medieval villages along the famous Lycian Way, visit beautiful beaches, explore awe-inspiring canyons, take a sunset pony ride on the beach, and for the nature lovers amongst us, there is the opportunity to see turtles and the rare tiger butterfly.
Typical Itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Dalaman
Fly to Dalaman and take a group transfer to the hotel in Ölüdeniz.

Day 2: Hiking along the Lycian Way
Visit the ghost village of Kayakoy and walk part of the Lycian Way which leads to Ölüdeniz beach.

Day 3: Boat Cruise from Ölüdeniz
Take a relaxed boat cruise from Ölüdeniz to visit the sights of Blue Cave, Butterfly Valley, St Nicholas Island and cold spring bay. Enjoy a freshly cooked lunch on board.

Day 4: Saklikent Gorge
Explore and scramble though the 200m deep gorge, stopping to try some Turkish tea on a pontoon over the water.

Day 5: Free day
Today is kept free for you to relax or enjoy some optional activities in the area such as scuba diving, a jeep safari or a visit to a Turkish bath.

Day 6: Pony trekking
The morning is at leisure. This afternoon, depart for a sunset pony ride through the forest path and along the beach.

Day 7: İztuzu Turtle Beach
İztuzu Beach has a protected area for nesting turtles, and the lagoon is a breeding ground for both loggerhead and Nile turtles. There is time to explore the long beach, swim in the sea, and learn about the loggerhead turtles before heading back to the hotel.

Stay longer in Turkey with a visit to the snow-white travertine terrace formations in Pamukkale, go on a scavenger hunt to find the statues of Greek gods and goddesses in the ancient city of Ephesus or explore the fairy chimneys in Cappadocia. Contact us for more details.
