This family holiday to Croatia offers a variety of coastal activities for the whole family to enjoy and explore the stunning scenery of Istrian Riviera.
Based in the coastal town of Lovran, full of grand 19th century villas and family hotels, embark on a series of pre-arranged exciting activities to explore the area's coastline and caves. Enjoy kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), the nearby islands by jeep, zipline and boats, and explore a beautiful national park in search of historical ruins, fossils and interesting animals on both land and in the water.
You have free time to explore the local area under your own steam, relax and enjoy the local beaches, or opt to participate in other additional activities.
Typical Itinerary

Day 1: Depart UK & Arrive Lovran
Arrive in Pula Airport and drive to the Coastal town of Lovran with the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Cliffs & Caves Kayak Adventure
Paddle along the rocky coastline past hidden bays and coastal villages to explore Grotte del Diavollo (The Devil's Cave).

Day 3: Morning SUP Adventure
Learn how to SUP and follow the coast to see old churches, hotels, parks and swim in the bays to practice your new-found skill.

Day 4: Day at Leisure
Today is at your leisure to explore the local beaches and town, or opt to join an optional excursion to the Plitvice National Park, Postonja Cave in Slovenia or go hunting for truffles in the hills of the Istrian Riviera.

Day 5: Krk Island Ziplining & Night Glow SUP Adventure
This morning, drive to the Island of Krk and enjoy a thrilling jeep and zipline tour amongst the peaks and canopies of the island. After sunset, enjoy an illuminated SUP adventure around the harbour to see the night lights of Opatija.

Day 6: Brijuni National Park
Enjoy a full-day excursion to explore the beautiful Brijuni National Park, with its dolphins, goats, deer, ancient ruins and more to discover.

Day 7: Boat excursion to the ‘Little Blue Cave’
Take a boat trip along the coast past picturesque coastal towns to the 60-metre-high cliff ‘Sip’ and the little blue cave that can be explored beneath it.

Day 8: Depart Lovran & Arrive UK
Transfer from our accommodation in Lovran to Pula Airport and fly home to the UK. -
Days 8-10 : OPTIONAL EXTENSIONS: Dalmatian Island Cruise or Croatia’s Four Rivers Region
