Starting in Sao Paulo, take a flight to the Iguassu Falls to visit both the Brazilian and Argentinean sides of this stunning natural site. Then you'll fly to the Pantanal, a wetlands region rich in wildlife, where you can enjoy activities suitable for the whole family. Go canoeing through the wetlands, wind your way through the nature trails and keep an eye out for the fabulous wildlife here, which includes capybara, (albeit elusive!), anacondas and caimans.
Finally, we'll take you to Rio de Janeiro, where you can take a cable car to Sugarloaf Mountain, see the awe inspiring 'Christ the Redeemer' statue on Corcovado Mountain, and relax and have fun on the famous white sand beaches.

Day 1: Depart the UK
Depart the UK on an overnight flight to Sao Paulo.

Day 2: Arrive Sao Paulo & fly to Iguassu
Arrive early in the morning and fly on to Iguassu Falls. Start your trip off with an incredible visit to the falls from the Brazilian side and a boat trip too.

Day 3: Iguassu Falls
Marvel at the thunderous sight of the Falls from the Argentenian side today, and take your time to really enjoy getting to know Brazil.

Day 4: Fly to the Pantanal
This morning, transfer back to Iguassu Airport and fly to the Pantanal – a huge wetland with amazing wildlife viewing opportunities. You’ll stay in a stunning eco-lodge for the night. The children will love the late night excursion to discover the nocturnal wildlife.

Days 5-6 : Pantanal: wildlife viewing
Head out to explore the Pantanal; by foot, the lodge vehicle or, if you choose, on horse-back.

Day 7: Fly to Rio de Janeiro
It's time to wave goodbye to the wildlife and fly to Rio de Janeiro, where the afternoon is all yours to explore and discover this vibrant and exciting city.

Day 8: Rio de Janeiro: city tour
Today you'll be taken on an exciting guided trip around Rio de Janeiro, where you’ll experience all the highlights: Sugar Loaf Mountain, Corcovado, Christ the Redeemer and, if you like, a visit to the Maracana Stadium.

Day 9: Rio de Janeiro: carnival workshop
Rio is famous for its lavish carnivals and at today’s carnival workshop you will get involved and see how it is all created!

Day 10: Depart Rio de Janeiro
This is the last day of your trip and it’s time to head to the airport for your return overnight flight to the UK.
