You start off on, São Miguel, where you enjoy exciting adventure activities, including cycling and canoeing around spectacular volcanic lakes, canyoning through lush forest covered river canyons and finally earning a soak to rejuvenate the muscles in the iron-rich thermal pool of the exotic botanical gardens. Next, you visit Terceira, here you discover more about the rich volcanic geology of the Azores, delving deep into the only accessible extinct volcano in the world.
Finally, you visit the island of Pico. A once thriving whaling station, Pico is now one of the world's best locations for seeing whales.
