A few years ago I went on holiday to Costa Rica with my Mum and Dad. The trip was so fun! We saw all sorts of amazing sights that I never thought I would see like volcanoes and forests.
The best thing about our holiday was definitely the wildlife, creatures and animals we saw along the way! Not being much of a creature and animal lover it surprised me that this was the best bit of the whole trip.
At the time of the trip I was just 8 years old and it was quite surprising how much I enjoyed the 5 mile hikes and walks. We also did loads of activities such as zip wiring and white water rafting.
It was by far my best holiday ever!
We travelled around with a great guide called Jeff and when it was my parents wedding anniversary they brought us out for a really nice dinner of rice and black beans (a Costa Rican favourite).
We also went to see a Costa Rican school and they showed us traditional dances and taught us some Spanish. It was so much fun!
I enjoyed every second of this trip and I hope to do another Families Worldwide holiday soon!
