This is a truly memorable experience. Fly up to the Arctic Circle and enter a magical winter wonderland, thick with snow. Enjoy the thrill of riding on a snowmobile across open landscapes, walk through the snow-capped woods on snowshoes, meet the indigenous Sami people and their reindeers, and have a go at cross-country skiing.
Extend your trip by a day and cross the border into Norway to the edge of the Arctic Ocean and sleep in a Snow Hotel! Thermal snowsuits and boots are provided.
- Day 1. Fly to Ivalo
- Join trip Ivalo airport; transfer to Menesjarvi village, near Inari.
- Day 2. Activities
- Enjoy a range of snow activities; afternoon optional snowmobile safari.
- Day 3. Huskies and Sami Museum
- Optional husky farm visit; afternoon visit to the Sami Museum and Northern Lapland Nature Centre.
- Day 4. Meet the reindeer
- Meet the Sami, visit a reindeer farm and enjoy a sleigh ride.
- Day 5. Transfer to Ivalo airport.
- Snow hotel extension
- Extend your trip with an overnight stay at the Snow Hotel in Norway (minimum age 7 years) - please contact us for details & prices.
