An exciting family adventure to discover South Africa's picturesque Garden Route. See elephant, lion, buffalo, rhino and leopard at malaria-free Addo Elephant National Park where you could see the 'Big 5' and explore the coastline where dolphins frolic and the whale season offers incredible encounters with southern right whale.

  • See whales & dolphins
  • Meerkat safari in the Klein Karoo
  • Big 5 safari in Addo Elephant National Park
  • Watch Boulders Beach penguin colony
  • Kayaking & ziplining
  • Discover the magic of Cape Town from a cable-car

One of the first stops on this exciting itinerary is Tsitsikamma, a highlight of the Garden Route, with a wonderful lagoon and forest to explore, and adrenaline adventures for you to either zipline, kayak or canoe, before a change of scene with a night in the Klein Karoo going in search of meerkats and ostrich!

The grand finale is Cape Town, dramatically set between the Atlantic and Table Mountain, where you can see the penguins of Boulders Beach and take a cable car ride to the top of table mountain! Many families like to spend extra time in Cape Town so you can extend your stay if you wish.

This is a varied self-drive itinerary to a malaria-free area, with an emphasis on the natural world: mountains, wildlife, forests, coast and marine life. As an alternative to self-drive we can arrange for a guide/driver to accompany you throughout the trip or for certain sections of your choice. Please contact us for more details.
