Things to see in Oman: Wadis

Wadi is the Arabic word for valley - and also means flash flood. There are many of these fresh water, natural adventure swimming pools in Oman - Wadi Shab is one of the finest. Here a 45 minute walk will take you to a seris of three natural swimming pools and a hidden cave at the end. Kids will love swimming and exploring. Wadi Bani Khalid is also worth a stop - pre or post desert - to refresh.
