Samburu National Park
Samburu National Park is located in the hot and arid fringes of northern Kenya. The desert landscape is home to the Samburu tribe, close relatives of the Masai, who herd their cattle across these desolate plains. The sluggish waters of the Ewaso Nyiro River meander though the park attracting herds of elephants. Samburu harbours a number of species rarely found anywhere else; including Reticulated Giraffe and Grevy's Zebra. The river also attracts a vast variety of birdlife to its waters.
