Things to see in Kenya: Nairobi
After a long flight, Nairobi is great to spend a few hours relaxing. Visit the Daphne Sheldrick's Elephant Orphanage and watch the tender loving care the keepers give these adorable creatures, you can even adopt a baby elephant and help with its continuing up keep. Just outside Nairobi is the Langata Giraffe Sanctuary, originally established in order to protect the endangered Rothschild Giraffe. Enjoy feeding the giraffes from the raised observatory platform and learn more about these majestic animals. Nairobi have several great restaurants but for the meat eaters - the Carnivore Restaurant is legendary.
