Kalahari Desert

The Kalahari Desert is the largest game reserve in Botswana, scored with dried up river beds and vast salt pans.

This harsh environment provides the setting for some of Africa’s finest game-viewing, including gemsbok, ostrich, leopard, lion, jackal, cheetah, and around 200 bird species. The Kalahari is known for the San Bushmen tribe.
