Galapagos by sea

The most common way to visit the Galapagos is to fly from mainland Ecuador then spend several days cruising around the islands on a choice of vessels. On a cruise, a typical day in the Galapagos will see your family making a couple of landings on the islands, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Landings can be wet or dry and are usually made from inflatable boats. Snorkelling is often available, and on some ships kayaking is also an option too.
