The Atlas Mountains rise from the plains of Morocco in majestic grandeur. Sprinkled throughout are scores of tiny villages, surrounded by walnut groves, inhabited by the traditional Berber communities, where they embrace the simple way of life. Tucked into the folds of the hills there are some great places to stay created out of local materials by enterprising Berbers. Cross high passes and descend to a different valley - and a different world. Take a ride on a trusty mule when the legs get tired and enjoy sumptuous meals freshly prepared by our excellent cooks.
