Zambia's Yosefe School
See some of the finest wildlife in the world - and help local school children. That was our aim when Families Worldwide set up trips to South Luangwa National Park in Zambia while co-sponsoring a nearby school with Promethean, a leading provider of school whiteboards. The scheme is already having practical benefits for the children.
By joining our 'South Luangwa Discovery' tour in Zambia and you will be helping us to support yosefe school, as Families worldwide donates £100 per booking to the 'First Sparks' project.
This year all the children at Yosefe school in the village of Mfuwe have received a proper school bag, much to their delight.
It may seem a small thing to people from the developed world, but most children in Mfuwe had no bags and simply tied up their books and equipment in string. Now the pupils each have a bag, specially designed in bright orange to keep them visible and safe as they walk the road to school.
