Passports and Visas
All nationalities require a full passport that must be valid for a least six (6) months beyond the intended length of stay. If you do not hold a passport and require a British passport, please apply to your nearest Post Office for the appropriate form. It is your responsibility to have the correct personal documents and to obtain your own visa, if necessary, in accordance with the regulations of the country you are to visit. We are not responsible for the actions of local immigration and custom officials. Visa regulations can and do change without notice, please check the current regulations in good time to obtain a visa if one is required. Health & Vaccinations
Most passengers who travel with Families Worldwide stay healthy throughout their journey. However, we realise how important a consideration your family's health is before and during your trip, so Families Worldwide have teamed up with Nomad Travel Clinic to help you keep peace of mind. Should you require further information please speak to a travel health professional at Nomad Travel on 0906 863 3414 (travel health info line - calls cost 1GBP per minute) or visit their website: www.nomadtravel.co.uk. Travellers who require special medicine should bring sufficient quantities to cover the duration of your holiday. In some cases a medical certificate/letter maybe required from the issuing GP confirming usage. It cannot be guaranteed that the same medication is available locally under the same brand name. Vaccinations requirements change periodically so please consult with your local GP or travel clinic for the latest advice on vaccinations and prophylaxis.

Tour Leaders and Local Staff
Families Worldwide tour leaders are much more than guides or package holiday reps. On some trips we employ local leaders where we feel this adds to the knowledge, insights and opportunities that only locals can provide. Our leaders will arrange transport, accommodation and any other logistical arrangements during the trip as well as providing practical information about the country, its culture, background and food.
Baggage
For your comfort we recommend that you travel as light as possible; most airlines impose a weight restriction of 20kgs in economy class, 30kgs in business class per person. We recommend that you take one soft, lockable bag, travel bag or rucksack - approximately 15kg. Hard suitcases are not appropriate for our style of travel, as you may have to carry your bags over some distance. We advise you take a day pack / small rucksack (25 litres capacity) large enough to carry what you may need for a days excursion.
Security at check-in
Please carry travel documents including tickets, insurance policy and money in your hand luggage. Any battery-operated appliances eg. mobile phones, cameras, i-pods, MP3 players must be placed in your hand luggage ready for security inspection. Please note the following items cannot be carried on board as hand luggage and must be placed in checked luggage - liquids (toiletries) more than 100ml, scissors, tweezers, metal nail files, hypodermic syringes (except with evidence of medical need). Baggage labels should be firmly attached to your luggage to facilitate identification and handling. We do recommend that you write your name clearly inside your bag as labels may come off during transportation. For details regarding hand luggage restrictions, please refer to the BAA website; www.baa.com.

Ecological considerations
We believe that we are one of the most ecologically aware tour operators. We ask for your full consideration and co-operation concerning all ecological matters, especially in the disposal of rubbish. We ask that you ensure that all your rubbish is either burned, buried if biodegradable or carried with you to a suitable disposal point. If you have any suggestions for improvements, please let our local staff know and inform us at Families Worldwide on your return. It is only with travellers', the tour operators' and local community co-operation that we can ensure that our tours are as eco-friendly as possible.
