Endless possibilities for adventure, variety and contrasts await you in the Philippines, a country formed of thousands of islands scattered across the Pacific Ocean. This family holiday sees you trek an island volcano, explore the famous Chocolate Hills and try stand-up paddle boarding along a meandering river in the jungle. Learn about local legends on the mythical island of Siquijor and walk, jump and swim your way through a river canyon.

Typical Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Depart UK

    Depart the UK on an overnight flight to Manila.

  2. Day 2: Arrive Manila

    On arrival you will be transferred to your accommodation in the Bay of Manila, and then the rest of the day is at leisure.

  3. Day 3: Taal volcano trekking

    Drive to Taal volcano where you will trek to the crater lake on the top of the volcanic island for spectacular views. Return to your hotel in Manila.

  4. Day 4: Bamboo bike tour

    Your guide will take you on a cycling tour of Intramuros, showing you some of the major historical and cultural sites of the old city. This afternoon fly to the island of Bohol.

  5. Day 5: At leisure

    Today is kept free for you to relax by the pool or river, or perhaps enjoy some of the optional activities available on the island.

  6. Day 6: Bohol countryside tour

    Spend a full day exploring the scenic countryside of Bohol. See the cone-shaped Chocolate Hills before enjoying a buffet dinner as you cruise down the river. This afternoon visit a tarsier sanctuary where you can spot these tiny primates in the forest with the help of your guide.

  7. Day 7: Stand up paddle boarding

    Start your day with some stand-up paddle boarding along the Loboc River, before taking a ferry to the island of Dumaguete.

  8. Day 8: Apo snorkelling tour

    Head out on a tour of Apo Island, famous for its fantastic snorkelling and sea turtle sanctuary.

  9. Day 9: Lake Balinsasayao

    Spend the day swimming or kayaking in the scenic twin lakes of Balinsasayao and enjoy a short trek around the lake.

  10. Day 10: Siquijor

    Explore the archaic churches and natural attractions of the mystical island of Siquijor.

  11. Day 11: At leisure

    Today is left free for you to relax at the resort, visit the local markets or try snorkelling or scuba diving locally.

  12. Day 12: Cebu

    This morning is at leisure before taking a ferry to the island of Cebu, known for its white sand beaches and spectacular diving and snorkelling.

  13. Day 13: At leisure

    Relax by the beach or pool or join some of the tours or excursions available locally.

  14. Day 14: Canyoning

    After an early check-out, transfer to the Kanloab River for a day of adventure. Climb, trek and swim along the course of the river before continuing to your final hotel on the island of Mactan.

  15. Day 15: Transfer to Cebu & fly back to the UK

    Sadly, it’s time to depart. Transfer to the airport in time for your return flight to the UK, arriving later the same day.
