Located on the Southern Slopes of the Rila Mountains, a winter wonderland of snow capped forests; enjoy activities such as cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and ice-skating. Learn winter survival skills from building an igloo, making a bivouac in the forest, preparing food, orientation and animal tracking. On your free day, you can explore the woods in an all terrain vehicle or go on a snowshoe expedition. Or simply play in the snow. Sadly it is time to say goodbye to the mountains as we return to Sofia, with free time to explore the myriad of winding alleyways and cobbled streets and take time to pursue the curio market stalls.
- Day 1. Fly to Sofia
- Fly to Sofia and drive to our base in Godlevo Village (southern slopes of the Rila Mountains).
- Day 2. Learn winter survival skills
- A fun activity day learning winter survival skills.
- Day 3. Optional ATV expedition
- Free day with optional ATV expedition through the woods.
- Day 4. Cross Country skiing and ice-skating
- Morning cross-country skiing, afternoon free to go ice skating or visit the old town.
- Day 5. Optional snowshoe excursion
- Free day to relax or explore or go on an optional snow shoeing excursion.
- Day 6. Snowmobiling
- Snowmobiling around the Pirin Mountains.
- Day 7. Drive to Sofia
- Drive to Sofia and visit to St John's Rila Monastery
- Day 8. Fly to London

- Located in the Pirin Mountains Staying in a comfortable ski-chalet style hotel with a restaurant, a small fitness centre and sauna. You will be required to take warm winter/ski clothing. There is a range of snow activities to keep the family entertained with time to relax and chill out as well.
- Accommodation and meals: Hotels (7nts). 7 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 1 evening meal included.
- Flight details: Scheduled flights from Heathrow with British Airways. You may wish to check the low cost airlines and buy the trip from us Land Only. If purchasing Land Only, a transfer supplement may be payable if you do not coincide with a group arrival at Sofia Airport.
