Based on the edge of a village on the Datca Peninsula in south west Turkey, this delightful beach-front location offers a great setting for families to spend some quality time together.
The main large bay forms a wonderful natural harbour, perfect to learn or improve your dinghy and windsurfing skills. Some sessions are designed specifically for kids, with dinghy and windsurfing courses available to children of about 8 years and above.
Perhaps hire a car and take the opportunity to explore the local area, or combine this trip with a 1-week flotilla hire on the Aegean coast.
- Day 1. Join trip at Selimiye
- Days 2 - 7. Activities
- Sailing activities using the range of equipment on-site, including windsurfers with a choice of rigs, sailing dinghies, fun-boats and kayaks. Explore Selimiye with its rich history and castle ruins. Or simply relax in the freshwater swimming pool. Included in the price is a 2-day sailing or windsurfing course for two members of a family of four.
- Day 8. End trip Selimiye
- Is it right for your family?
- You will stay in a small taverna-style hotel, with just 20 rooms, all with private facilities. There is a freshwater swimming pool, bar and restaurant serving a wide range of dishes. The beach is sand and shingle with a large wooden jetty perfect for the sailing activities. We also included a 2-day sailing or windsurfing course for two members of a family of four.
