This is our most popular Indian tailor-made itinerary. It visits India's finest national parks and offers the very best opportunities for tiger viewing. As with all of our itineraries, we can mix and match the accommodation and of course we can extend or shorten your stay in any of the locations we have proposed.
- Day 1
- Depart UK for Delhi.
- Day 2
- Stay in Delhi one night (B).
- Day 3
- Early morning rail journey to visit Ranthambore National Park. There is time to explore Ranthambore Fort. Evening Cultural programme followed by dinner (BLD).
- Days 4/5
- Morning and late afternoon game drives in shared Canter (Open mini-bus without roof) (BLD).
- Day 6
- Travel by train to visit Bharatpur. After lunch visit Fatehpur Sikri. Evening is free or an optional visit to Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary (B).
- Day 7
- Visit Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal. Travel on an overnight train to Umaria and on to Bandhavgarh National Park (B).
- Days 8 - 10
- Game drives to look for tigers and other wildlife (BLD).
- Day 11 - 13
- Kanha National Park on safari (BLD).
- Day 14
- Return to Delhi for one night (B).
- Day 15
- Tour Old and New Delhi (B).
- Day 16
- Return to the UK (B).
