Enjoy a family activity holiday with the intense sights, sounds and smells of India's Golden Triangle. Discover temples and a maze of alleyways in Old Delhi's traditional bazaar.

Watch the delight on the faces of your children as they catch a glimpse of their first tiger in the wild at Ranthambore National Park. See the beautifully painted havelis (private mansions) in Nawalgarh and wander the palaces and courtyards of the Amber Fort. Explore atmospheric Jaipur, the deserted Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri, and finally, the world's most beautiful building - the Taj Mahal.

Day 1/2 - Overnight flight to Delhi. City tour.

Day 3 - To Surajgarh, camel-cart safari.

Day 4 - Nawalgarh to visit a local school.

Day 5 - Jaipur Bollywood film & puppets.

Day 6 - Explore Amber Fort & free time.

Day 7/8 - Ranthambore National Park for game drives to spot tigers.

Day 9 - To Agra via Fatehpur Sikri.

Day 10 - See the Taj at sunrise. Train to Delhi.

Day 11 - Return flight home.

Goa Beach Extension Unspoilt beaches, majestic churches and monuments. Stay at one of the most beautiful beaches in the region. Varca beach is ideal for families who prefer to get away from the crowds. Relax on the palm-fringed pristine sand, go dolphin watching, boating or explore some of the magnificent monasteries.

Darjeeling Extension Spectacular scenery in the foothills of the Himalayas. Darjeeling is known for its tea gardens, Toy Train and views of Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world. Venture into the bustling streets of the hill station, explore the Buddhist monasteries or simply sip the local tea and enjoy the scenery.

Mararikulam Beach Extension A peaceful beach and fishing village. Kerala has quiet and family-friendly beaches that are well worth a visit. Enjoy the slower pace of life, green surroundings and breathtaking sunsets or, if you crave more activity, take a bicycle ride around the surrounding countryside.

Day 1. Overnight flight to Delhi
Fly from the UK to Delhi on an overnight flight.
Day 2. Arrive Delhi, afternoon visit Old Delhi
Arrive in Delhi and take an afternoon tour of Old Delhi, visiting the Crafts Museum and Connaught Place. There is an opportunity afterwards to visit the Red Fort or take a ride on a cycle rickshaw through Old Delhi.
Day 3. Drive to Surajgarh, camel-cart safari
Make the journey from busy Delhi to the small town of Surajgarh, in time for an exciting camel-cart safari around the town, taking in the amazing temples and beautiful sunset. In the evening enjoy a traditional Rajasthani cultural folk and dance show.
Day 4. Continue to Nawalgarh, visit local school
Drive to Nawalgarh and explore the town - visit a local school and learn about education and way of life in a small rural village.
Day 5. Jaipur - Bollywood film & puppet show
Head to Jaipur for an orientation walk of the town, a trip to the spectacular Raj Mandir Cinema to see a Bollywood film, and then an evening puppet show at the hotel.
Day 6. Explore Amber Fort
Travel out to the old capital of Amber and explore the hilltop fort complex. The afternoon is free to relax or further explore this fascinating city.
Day 7. Drive to Ranthambore National Park
Head south-east to Sawai Madhopur and Ranthambore National Park, into the heart of rural India. Arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive.
Day 8. Wildlife viewing in Ranthambore NP
Enjoy game drives in Ranthambore National Park, which is famous for tiger, as well as chital, sambhar deer, blue bull and chinkara as well as a variety of birdlife. Ranthambore Fort, located inside the park, is rich in archaelogical monuments, including the temples of the God Ganesh and Maa Kali.
Day 9. Drive to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri.
Take a fascinating train journey to Bharatpur with an optional visit to the Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary. Continue by bus to Agra, stopping at the ancient deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, an abandoned yet perfectly preserved ghost city.
Day 10. Taj Mahal at sunrise, train to Delhi
Take a short rickshaw ride to see the Taj Mahal at its best - at sunrise. The rest of the day is free at your leisure - perhaps take an optional trip to the Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, board the Shatabdi Express train for Delhi.
Day 11. Fly to UK
Depart the hotel and fly to UK from Delhi Airport.
