A short flight and drive brings you to a superb, undiscovered mountain area, with gentle walking, no 'hassle' in the souks, and a good mix of mountain scenery, villages and beach.
As well as allowing time to dip your toes in the warm waters of the Mediterranean, this trip provides an experience of traditional, rural Morocco at an unhurried pace in the glorious 'yet to be explored' Rif Mountains.
- Day 1. Fly to Tangier
- Day 2. Visit Tetouan medina
- Drive to Tetouan, visit medina; continue to beach at Oued Laou.
- Day 3. Oued Laou beach
- Free day to relax at Oued Laou beach.
- Day 4. Three day walk.
- Drive then walk to Chefchaouen in Rif Mountains.
- Day 5/6. Rif Mountain walks
- Walks in the Rif Mountains with mule support; drink mint tea, make cous-cous and learn songs with the Berbers.
- Day 7. Chefchaouen
- Return to Chefchaouen.
- Day 8. Tangier to London
- Drive to Tangier. Fly to London.
