Day 1. Fly to Cairo

In Cairo; see Pyramids & Tutankhamun's treasures. Overnight train to Aswan.
Day 3-5. Cruise Aswan to Luxor
Optional camel trek. Then board boat for three night Nile Cruise to Luxor. Visit Edfu and Kom Ombo temples en route. Calesh ride to Karnak Temple in Luxor.
Day 6. Cruise to Luxor
Luxor; donkey ride, visit Valley of the Kings.
Day 7. Luxor
Free time in Luxor. Overnight train to Cairo.
Day 8. Cairo
In Cairo; afternoon free to explore.
Day 9. Fly to London

If you have time, we recommend extending your stay with a 2-night visit to the Red Sea to snorkel on coral and relax.

Is it right for your family?
Accommodation is in hotels, an overnight train and on a comfortable cruise boat. There's no strenuous activity, so the trip is open to almost any age. There are optional excursions (like camel trekking) which can be taken for those interested.
