This trip delves into New England's past as well as enjoying the great outdoors. You'll walk the Freedom Trail in Boston, learning about the American Revolution, before taking the ferry to Cape Cod. Explore the dunes and play on the beach and then board Zodiacs for some whalewatching off the coast. Seeing these majestic giants nuzzle alongside your boat is fantastic. There'll be time to see 'gingerbread cottages' on the picturesque island of Martha's Vineyard as well as a chance to cycle, kayak or sail.

- Boston; walk the Freedom Trail.
- Day 3. Provincetown & Cape Cod
- Ferry to Provincetown. Explore then drive to Cape Cod.
- Day 4. Cape Cod
- Cape Cod. Beach games & whalewatching.
- Day 5/6. Martha's Vineyard
- Drive & ferry to Martha's Vineyard, explore on foot; optional kayaking, tallship sailing, riding.
- Day 7. Sandwich
- Drive to Sandwich, cycling.
- Day 8. Boston
- Return to Boston, free day.
- Day 9/10. Overnight flight to London

- A fairly relaxed trip with a mix of hotels and camping. All camp equipment (3-person tents for two people, inflatable mattresses and cooking/eating utensils) is provided but please bring a sleeping bag (3-season). Travel is by 15-seat mini-van with roofrack, CD and cool-box.
